I have several friends that have made it back from Iraq, some that haven't. I have more going over there and more that are joining to go over there. I'm kind of surprised at your comments. The media does not reflect what good is truely going on over there. Just speak to some of the servicemen that have been there. The media lumps a month of bombings into one day to make it appear worse.

I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as it is what makes America so great.

I'd buy the calendar. I like hot guys and I like to support those who have given up their lives for this great country which I call home! Call me shallow! ;)

And since I work for a consumer product company, I had to comment on the Hellman's Mayo price increase. There are a ton of consumer good products that get a reduction in size to keep the price from going up. Their cost in supplies has to be projected somewhere: either raise the price or reduce the size. Our company does it. We'd rather keep the product the same price than increasing it.

Putting the calendar aside. Which is very silly. I must make the following remarks.

Although freedom was fought for in the Revolutionary War, freedom is not finite. This is evidenced by the timeline of history after the Revolutionary War up to now.

There have always been factors in the history of the world that create infringements upon the freedoms of others, even the United States.

You are entitled to your opinion that the war is being fought "for someone's ego, bully status and God-complex", but you would be wrong, which you are entitled to be.

There are thousands of military personnel that would be happy to tell you why they joined the military and what they are fighting for in this war. Just ask. You probably wouldn't like what you hear.

Yes. There are innocent people being killed in this war and you can thank the Islamo-fascists nazis for that, not American soldiers.

As far as your comments that most Americans can't afford luxury products. This simply is not true. This country has one of the best economy's it has seen in decades and if you choose not to take part in it, then that up to you.

Guns are sooo NOT sexy. Ahhh. And I think if that they would be required to camoflauge paint this much naked flesh if they were really out there.
On another note, but a similar topic- last night in artist's books class we were looking at one classmate's book and he had a picture of a nude man (supposedly him, really a renassiance painting, and a side shot where you couldn't see anything) and another classmate remarked to two women- It would be much better if it were a naked woman. I set him straight.

I thought Ben Affleck was the new Superman.

And Lauren -- YES!?!?!?!

I think I can appreciate Amy's equal opportunity ogling (now I'm giggling like a schoolgirl).
