<description>I'm not much of a news story follower, but this one has gripped me like no other. Despite the fact that I "know" there are thousands persecuted throughout the world for their faith in Jesus, this one story has knocked the wind out of me. Part personal, part political.
Personal because it involves a real man with the possibility of losing his life (gaining?) because he says the same thing I do, namely, "I believe in the Holy Spirit and I love Jesus."
Political because it has world wide ramifications for the global understanding if Islam and will (hopefully) push the issue to the forefront and make people deal with it.
The other side of the coin is one I found while surfing. It is the story of a Muslim who decided to follow Jesus and knows his Koran (or atleast is willing to talk about it) better than the extremists. His story is here: http://www.everystudent.com/wires/radical.html
