You could do that here…but we won’t be here. We could just order you a pizza and then join you when we get done with Tuesday nights at CBC and just hang. Of course, you might find yourself nodding in agreement when you’re listening to the speech in Republican-leaning suburbia. Skewed perspective and all. Something to consider, anyway.

I would almost consider killing my cat for you. Not for dinner, but just so we could have a place for you to rest and veg.

Oh, then there’s the fact that we own a TV, but have no reception, just the DVD player. Know what? We could stream the speech on the web, make some handpuppets and then go for it MST3K style.
I’m just typing and typing because we miss you guys and it somehow makes me feel close to the Rudd’s to make this long post. I fear that we will not see you before you leave (curses!) so I’ll just type and type to comfort myself. Purely selfish.

Hi,this is a little strange but I did a search looking for a used NIV student bible and the third hit was your comment that you were saying goodbye to your teal NIV and getting a new one. I’ve had my bible for 15 or so years and it was also a leather teal one with my name engraved. It has since been rebound because I cannot part with it. It has been thru everything with me! Anyway, I left my baby with my husband one night and when I came home it was missing pages 991, 992 , 993. Romans 8-11. Any chance you still have yours? I wanted to buy a used copy so I could put those pages back in. Or find one that I could photocopy those 3 pages. I haven’t been able to find another copy. *pointing to self* Are you talking to me? If so, I did own an NIV slim line Bible some years ago which I loved. I accidently left it on the roof of my car while loading kids. It then rode on top till we picked up speed on a major highway and got WAY munched by other cars. Later, I replaced it with another thin line which was just recently stolen!
I just recently bought an ESV thin line (hey I’m stubborn). Sadly though, I don’t have the NIVs any longer.
