yes i know. it’s heartbreaking. 3 pastors from my church are doing relief work rambo style in biloxi. one grew up there.
i just came from working with evacuees in houston. i cried a lot. prayed a lot. served my guts out. it’s all so overwhelming.
I’ve never been out of the state for any length of time, so the only natural disaster I’ve had upclose and personal contact with are tornadoes - you don’t get much flooding in West Texas. I know you spent a good deal of time out there, and I’m sure that the personal knowledge, on top of everything else, is a lot to deal with. Do you have anyone out there you still keep in touch with that we can be praying for?
