We’ve got the Garden State soundtrack playing in the background. Joshua’s in the kitchen, doing the gads of dishes left over from Katie’s going away party last night. I must say, when you tell this group of people to BYOB, they sure do a good job. I had a lot of fun. We got to say goodbye to Katie, and the flying Judah even stayed up way too late to say Bon Voyage. I even got to see Paige (and her new boyfriend — who is really nice, by the way), who is in town for the weekend from D.C. but now, the munchkin is asleep, I hear water running from the kitchen, and I ‘m recovering from working out this morning. And it’s a good moment.
This has a been a crazy week, between my husband’s birthday brunch Sunday, movies on Tuesday date night with Joshua Wednesday, free drinks with Sarah Jane Thursday, Katie’s party last night, and Sarah’s party tonight, it’s been a load of fun. Oh yeah, and we’re picking up a brother today from the airport, in from Seattle for a gig, to take him down to Waco to see the other brother and the rest of the family, who need blogs, apparently (sorry, Papa, you have one, I forgot). So Mom, I guess it’s just you who needs a blog.
Anyway, it’s been, and will continue to be, a good week with lots of things happening.
Goodness, you have had a full week! After working hard all day, doing “home” things after I finally get here, and reading all my kiddos’ blogs, it’s time for bed (or Taylor is on the computer!) Guess I never thought of my own blog. By the way - the R&B site shouldn’t count at Papa’s blog!
